New song by Groundation is out, and it’s a teaser to their upcoming album “The Next Generation”.
What makes this album so special, is that that analog 2-inch tapes have been used to record this masterpiece. So this time Groundation are aiming to produce the sound that was being mastered back then in 1972. To help them achieve this they’ve hired legendary Jim Fox, from the Fox Studios, who had been working closely with reggae superstars like “Isreal Vibration”, “Culture”, “Don Carlos”…
From the opening drum fill to the down beat “Fossil Fuels” sets a decisive tone. Delivered
on a driving one-drop rhythm “Fossil Fuels” grooves alongside a powerful political and
social message. Lead singer Harrison Stafford speaks to mankind’s addiction to this costly
non-renewable energy resource while offering ideas for possible solutions.
