It is a real pleasure to write about an underground band that has the quality and is close to our region. Today, this is the case with the Polish band “Shashamane“, which contacted us like many through the social network.

Honestly, I haven’t found some time to enjoy their music, but when Dadaman told me he likes what he hears, then I know it’s something worth hearing.

Shashamane” in a way really reminds me of the Belgrade band “Del Arno Band”. What is immediately noticeable is the horn section, which is their forte. The music is complemented by dub effects, percussion, and emphasis on values or issues. For someone from the Balkans who wants a new sound, “Shashamane” will really be a refreshment.

Another exciting thing is that we understand many words and concepts because of our closeness and the Polish language. It’s not hard to hear the message and enjoy the music arrangement.

As I have already mentioned, “Shashamane” resembles the Del Arno Band, but some musical elements are reminiscent of the British Resonators. Because of dub, reverb, and those effects present in dub music. Of course, you don’t need to label the music and classify it in the folds, but if you are a fan of the bands I mentioned, you will find relative value in this band.

Not to lengthen more than necessary, listen and enjoy.
